Who is responsible

setimes.com is responsible for the personal data processed on this website. Questions about privacy can be sent through our contact page.

Reading the website

You can read setimes.com without an account. We do not use advertising trackers, we do not run third-party analytics, and we do not set cookies for visitors who are not logged in.

  • Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the service secure and working. These logs are kept only for a limited period.
  • Article view counts. To show “Most Read” and “Trending” lists, your browser tells our server which article you read after you have stayed on it for a few seconds. We store only the number of views per article per day. We do not store your IP address and we do not use cookies for this. To avoid counting the same reader many times, a temporary, scrambled code derived from your connection is kept in memory for up to one hour and then discarded, and your browser remembers in its session storage (cleared when you close the tab) that the article was already counted.
  • Fonts. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google servers and Google receives your IP address. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
  • Weather and currency rates. Weather forecasts are requested by our server from Open-Meteo, and euro exchange rates from the European Central Bank. No information about you is sent to either of them.
  • Share buttons. The Facebook, X, Telegram and LinkedIn buttons are plain links. Nothing is sent to these networks until you click one; after that, the network’s own privacy policy applies.

Contacting us

If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic and your message by email so that we can reply. The form does not store messages on the website. We keep emails only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up. The legal basis is your consent, which you give when you send the form, and our legitimate interest in answering readers.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.

Changes to this policy

If we add new services that process personal data — for example a newsletter or analytics — we will update this page before they go live. The date at the top shows the latest version.
