Strikes in Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv

Russian drone strikes in Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv oblasts injured at least four people and ignited fires at critical and logistics infrastructure facilities. The regional military administration reported that Russian forces targeted the cities of Dnipro and Samar in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, causing injuries to three people and setting fire to the roof of a house and several garages during the night. In Dnipro, the attacks also caused fires at critical infrastructure facilities, which forced emergency services to respond to the affected sites. Ukraine’s Air Force issued warnings throughout the night that Russian drones were moving toward Dnipro and the surrounding region. These attacks in Dnipro and Samar hit both residential areas and vital regional infrastructure. The strikes in Dnipropetrovsk clearly targeted civilian dwellings alongside logistics sites. In total, the strikes in Dnipro and Samar injured three people.

Damage in Bucha and logistics hits

In Kyiv Oblast, a Russian attack struck what appeared to be a building materials warehouse in the Bucha district and sparked a fire. The Kyiv Independent observed the fire at the scene in the Bucha district. Ukraine’s State Emergency Service confirmed at around 7 a.m. local time that the attack targeted logistics infrastructure. Firefighters from Bucha and other districts deployed to the site to extinguish the blaze. The Kyiv Oblast attack injured one man, and preliminary information indicates that no fatalities have been reported. This strike in the Bucha district follows other recent drone activity, such as a Nov. 4 incident where Ukrainian soldiers shot down a Russian Shahed drone that carried "a bundle of propaganda leaflets from the enemy," according to Robert "Madyar" Brovdi. Also, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that more than 30 people may still be trapped under the rubble. The drone attacks in Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv oblasts injured at least four people and ignited fires at critical and logistics infrastructure facilities. The strikes in Bucha and Dnipro show a persistent pattern of hitting logistics and residential buildings.
